Introducing Fulfillment Dashboard: New artifact requests are now self-serve
At Chainguard, our mission has always been to be the best source for open source. We’ve seen organizations truly embrace that ideal, with Chainguard Containers serving as a standard foundation for their own containerized applications and as the maintainers of the third-party containerized apps they run within their environments. While we’ve scaled past 2,000 supported projects, we're only getting started. As we’ve built new images for customers every day, we’ve heard how valuable it would be to have greater visibility, context, and control throughout the artifact request process.
Today, we are excited to introduce Fulfillment Dashboard. This new self-service console transforms the image request process into a transparent, community-influenced development pipeline, giving you more visibility and control to scale your secure software initiatives.
From manual workflows to self-service transparency
Fulfillment Dashboard is designed to be a central hub where customers submit, track, and vote on image requests, getting a firsthand look at the Chainguard Factory floor. Rather than relying on email and Slack communications with the Chainguard customer success team members, customers can now view the entire lifecycle of an image request from a single interface.
The dashboard offers several key capabilities designed to streamline your workflow:
Real-time status tracking: Gain clear visibility into the status of your requests in the pipeline. You can track images across the "In Review," "Active Builds," and "Delivered" statuses, providing the feedback and maturity needed for enterprise-grade planning.
Target delivery dates: To help you allocate resources and manage team expectations, the dashboard provides target dates for image delivery.
Deduplication and integrated search: Before making a new request, you can use the integrated search and request flows to see if an image is already in the pipeline. This helps requesters find existing requests that match their needs, enabling faster prioritization.

Influencing factory fulfillment with community upvoting
One of the most impactful features of Fulfillment Dashboard is the ability to upvote artifact requests from across the Chainguard community. By upvoting requests, you send direct demand signals to the Chainguard Factory and help reinforce prioritization. This community-aligned approach infuses the image request process with a direct, crowdsourced prioritization mechanism for delivering new container images.

Fulfillment visibility + increased scale with Chainguard Factory 2.0
Fulfillment Dashboard encompasses only a fraction of the work done by Chainguard Factory, our automated build system that continuously monitors, builds, tests, and publishes secure software artifacts from thousands of open source projects.
Recently, we announced the launch of Chainguard Factory 2.0, marking a pivotal moment in our efforts to secure the software supply chain. Chainguard Factory 2.0 moves from an event-driven system to a resilient, self-correcting system powered by traditional code and agentic reconciliation bots that we’re calling DriftlessAF. Chainguard Factory 2.0 is humming smoothly for our customers, maintaining and constantly rebuilding over 2,000 unique open source projects with zero CVEs.
The combination of Fulfillment Dashboard’s increased visibility and transparency with Chainguard Factory 2.0’s ramping scale promises to bring more capacity and maintained quality to everyone who relies on Chainguard and its trusted open source artifacts.
Getting started
The Fulfillment Dashboard is primarily built for Chainguard Catalog customers who frequently add or track new OSS artifacts in their environments. It is particularly valuable for platform teams or organizations with multiple requesters, providing a centralized, trackable view that benefits the entire team.
The Fulfillment Dashboard is a significant step forward in that journey, providing the transparency, visibility, and control that modern security and platform teams require.
Log in to the Chainguard Console, click on “Requests” in the left-hand navigation bar, explore the Fulfillment Dashboard, and start influencing the future of your secure image catalog today.
