The Chainguard Slack Community is Here!

Hi everyone, I’m Kirby – one of the early marketing team members and Chainguard’s first social media manager. I’m so excited to announce the launch of the Chainguard Slack Community.

When I joined Chainguard in 2022, we did whatever we could to bring people together: engineers, security practitioners, and open source contributors who share a passion for building safer software. Like my grandmother taught me, it’s easy to break one chopstick, but it’s hard to break one hundred chopsticks together. Our superpower is connecting with and learning from one another.

Until now, much of that collaboration has happened across social channels, GitHub, events and conferences, but we wanted to create a dedicated space for you all. And that’s how the Chainguard Slack Community was born.

Why Join the Chainguard Community? 

Here’s what you can expect:

• Direct connection to us – Chat with the people who are building the tools you love

• Best practices from your peers – Swap stories, trade tips, and discuss the latest in supply chain security, and secure build systems.

• Early access to updates – Hear about new releases, security improvements, and other fun things we’re working on

• Networking and collaboration – Meet other people who care about secure software supply chains, and maybe even find your next project collaborator.

• Events and livestreams - We’ll be hosting a monthly show, quarterly Ask our CEO Anything, and office hours with our experts!
