CHAINGUARD CHECKS
Last Update: November 5, 2026
Chainguard Checks is a hosted continuous integration service that allows Customers to run host-side configurable pre-commit check policies so pull requests can be vetted before merged (each, a “Check”). Customer defines its Checks in a configuration file in its repository and each Check runs in its own isolated, Chainguard-hardened microVM on Chainguard’s infrastructure. Checks processes Customer’s source code, repository contents, configuration, and pull request content (“Code Analysis Inputs”) to generate check results, statuses, logs, findings, and other outputs (“Code Analysis Outputs”).
Actions taken by an AI Agent are Customer’s actions as between the parties, whether or not Customer foresaw, reviewed, or approved them. Customer is responsible for configuring agent permissions, credentials (which should carry only minimum necessary privileges), network access, and resource limits, and for supervising agent activity. Chainguard does not control or assume responsibility for any third-party agent, model, or service Customer connects to Checks, or for the Code Analysis Inputs or credentials Customer makes available to it.
Chainguard Checks is subject to the Code Analysis Terms: https://www.chainguard.dev/legal/code-analysis-terms as a Technology Preview and is not a generally available Product or Service.
