Modern Slavery Act Statement
This statement constitutes Chainguard’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st January 2026.
Structure & Supply Chain
Chainguard’s Services include software development and related support services. We primarily operate out of the United States and secure global software supply chains across regulated and commercial industries by providing customers with hardened, secure, and production-ready builds of the open source software they rely on so their teams can build faster, stay compliant, and eliminate risk.
To support these core Services and internal operations, we maintain a workforce of more than 600 personnel and procure services from strategic third-party vendors. Our supply chain consists primarily of two categories: vendors supporting the delivery of our core Services and vendors providing internal support services, such as analytics, IT, payroll, and maintenance.
Policy & Diligence Process
Chainguard is committed to protecting human rights in all aspects of our global business and we do not tolerate any form of forced labour or human trafficking. To safeguard against modern slavery, Chainguard maintains controls internally and in its supply-chain diligence processes, including:
Related policies under our Code of Conduct, Third Party Management, and Employee Handbook;
Vendor risk assessments conducted by legal, procurement, and security compliance; and
Reporting channels to HR for observed violations.
Effectiveness
All related policies are periodically reviewed and delivered company-wide at least annually so we continually enhance our protections against the intricate nature of modern slavery in the supply chain. This includes validating the effectiveness of our reporting mechanisms to HR as well as the continued enhancement of our vendor risk assessment processes to identify vendors operating in high-risk regions for slavery and human trafficking. We will continue to create, develop, and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of these efforts.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, covers Chainguard, Inc. and has been approved by the Board of Directors of Chainguard, Inc.
