How The Guardener Works:

The Guardener is an image-compatibility analyzer and utilizes third-party AI tools to access and assess the contents of your workspace to provide actionable recommendations in connection with your use of Chainguard’s products and services. To accomplish this, we will retain a clone of your workspace for the duration of our feature and error analysis, and may access workspace data you provide or make available to us (e.g. supported scripts, build outputs, source code, configuration files) for such purpose. It is recommended that you always independently check any results or output generated from The Guardener for accuracy as we may not separately validate these results with human review.

Your Agreement: By clicking “Agree,”  you consent, in your role as employee, contractor or agent of your corporation, partnership or similar legal entity or organization, to using and accessing The Guardener as described above,  and certify you have all rights and permissions necessary to bind such entity (“Customer”) to these terms which supplement and modify the agreement in effect between Chainguard and Customer for the provision of Chainguard’s products, services and other offerings (the “Agreement”). Further,  by clicking “Agree” you hereby:

  • Grant Chainguard and its affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and process your workspace data as necessary to provide and improve The Guardener, prevent or address service or technical problems therein, or as may be required by law;

  • Acknowledge that Customer or its licensors retain all right, title and interest (including any and all intellectual property rights) in and to the workspace data and any modifications made thereto or outputs made thereof,  in the course of operation of The Guardener;

  • Agree to sanitize workspace data for any information or data that may be deemed sensitive or similarly regulated before providing or making it available to Chainguard (e.g. API keys, secrets, emails, tokens, FedRAMP-controlled data);

  • Acknowledge that The Guardener may be  accessed for debugging-purposes from time-to-time by Chainguard personnel located from countries around the world (excluding countries, or parts thereof, that are subject to US/Canadian sanctions)

  • Agree to comply the terms of the Agreement in connection with your use of The Guardener, which for clarity, constitutes a “Technology Preview” therein (provided that the terms located at https://www.chainguard.dev/legal/master-service-and-license-agreement shall apply solely with respect thereto, in the event the Agreement does not contain terms governing Technology Previews), including without limitation,  all applicable export and import obligations; as well as

  • Consent to Chainguard’s Supplemental Feature Data Processing Addendum.
